The key to the successful production of mushroom plastic bag branch spawn
The key to the successful production of mushroom plastic bag branch spawn
1. The branch soaking time should be up to 24 hours; the gaps between the branches in the bag should be filled with sawdust and other culture media as much as possible; the sterilization process uses high pressure sterilization, the first temperature is raised to 105℃, maintained for 60 minutes, the second temperature is 118℃, maintained for 40 minutes, and finally raised to 125℃, maintained for 120~140 minutes.
2. The sawdust must be filled into the gaps between the branches as much as possible, which can reduce the amount of cold air retention in the bag and make sterilization easier and more thorough. The reserved holes in the cultivation bag are easily blocked when inoculating with sawdust spawn, affecting the synchronization of mycelium spread. Branch spawn can completely solve this problem. After the mycelium fills the bag, the culture time is extended for a few days so that some mycelium can penetrate into the branches.
3. Not all fungi are suitable for branch spawn. For some fungi, such as shiitake mushrooms, when using branch spawn, due to their vigorous aerial mycelium, the branches are easy to stick together and difficult to peel off, which affects the inoculation speed.
