Management process and key points of Morel Mushroom Production-3
2. Mulberry period

When the needle mushroom continues to grow to form a black conical mushroom cap, the stage before growing to 4 cm is called the mulberry period. No special management is required at this stage, just maintain the temperature of the greenhouse and ventilate moderately. When the mushroom bud grows to 3~4 cm, remove the film in time. If the temperature and humidity in the greenhouse are high, the film can be removed in advance at 2 cm.
3. Young mushroom period

When the mushroom bud grows to more than 4 cm, it has a certain ability to adapt to the environment and can control the temperature at 4~20℃. Low temperature management is more conducive to cultivating strong individuals, and the focus is on preventing and controlling high temperatures. If the humidity is low or the soil moisture is insufficient at this stage, humidification and water replenishment can be directly carried out by micro-spraying, micro-fogging, etc.
4. Mature mushroom period

The focus of the mature mushroom period is to prevent and control high temperatures. At the same time, in order to improve the quality of morels, try to increase the light intensity and time, increase ventilation, and help the mushroom cap color and thicken the meat under controllable temperature.
5. Harvest period

The fine longitudinal grooves on the cap of morels gradually become larger as the individual grows. The color of the mushroom body changes from yellow-brown or red to dark brown or black. When the stem is white, it is harvested in time. The size of the harvested mushrooms ranges from 5 to 12 cm.
At the same time, it should also be combined with the mushroom density and temperature in the greenhouse. When the mushroom density is small and the growth temperature is low, the nutrient supply is sufficient, and the mushrooms can be harvested larger, otherwise they should be harvested early. The harvesting standard of morels is not based on size, but on the state. When the longitudinal lines of the cap are unfolded and the mushroom cap turns black, it is considered to be an umbrella, and it should be harvested in advance. Otherwise, when the soil moisture is slightly higher or the temperature is high, it will quickly turn into gray-legged mushrooms (commonly known as upper water mushrooms, with extremely low prices).
It should be noted that the humidity in the greenhouse should be reduced three days before harvesting, and water spraying should be stopped to ensure timely harvesting. Before the high temperature comes, it should be harvested as early as possible to ensure quality.
